With the sale of each copy, 5 euros will be donated to the solidarity project 'It's a restaurant', a project to integrate the homeless.
'É um restaurante' is a social reintegration project supported by Lisbon City Council, mentored by Chef Nuno Bergonse and with the creativity of The Hotel. This restaurant is staffed by people who are or have been homeless. Each year, 75 people in vulnerable situations will be integrated, providing them with the tools to enter the job market.
However, like so many other restaurants, given the current situation, 'É um restaurante' was also forced to close its doors to the public. But unity is strength and the restaurant's employees came together in solidarity, and have been preparing and distributing 400 meals a day for people living on the streets of Lisbon.
